After the file is repaired, the corruption or incorrect formatting of all tables in the document should be corrected. To find the Open and Repair command, click the File tab, click Open, click the down arrow next to the Open button, and then click Open and Repair. You can recover the contents of the document and the table by closing the document, and then reopening it by using the Open and Repair command in the Open dialog box. "This error message may be the result of a corrupt table in the current document. Removing the header through the first option gives me an error (error message below) and Word force closes. the Latter somehow removes the header section all together so even when I double click the top of the page to access the header, nothing appears. I have also tried to delete it by selecting it and deleting it. I have tried removing the header through the header and footer tools section (Header > Remove Header). Strangely enough, the page before it still has a header all pages are part of the same section. However, when I delete the table or cut the table and close the header/Footer section, I noticed that I no longer have a header on that page or any of the following pages after that. Recently, I added a table to the header section to allow me to get creative with the design and keep things organized. I am experiencing a new issue with headers in Word.
